He's sad that he can't bring himself to return to the past, but he's also happy that he and Hiroshi have been together for so long. He says that even though he can never change, he can always be grateful for the things that he does have with Hiroshi. He tells Hiroshi that even if they don't get along in the future, they'll always remember each other's stories. He also says that, even if Hiroshi doesn't need him anymore, he will always remember how much he loved him. "You always said you loved me," he says. "And waved at you, always held your hand so that I could let go" . "I was scared" , he says, "You never invited me as strong as you did." "I realized it probably was like that," he adds. "It's fine, you forgot," he concludes, "even if you do, as long as they're together, that memory will remain somewhere."
