In this short scene, Shmoop explains that he can handle his wound by himself. He tells Zillah that the time she spends with him is more important to him than she thinks it is. He says that he used to go to the gym more than Zillah, and that if he did not exercise properly, he would get fat. Zillah says that she is the violent one, so she should fight for those she loves, but she should not fight for people who are in the wrong. He reminds her that he is the one who is most wrong, and he wants her to talk about him in a way that will make her feel good. He applies a little bit of his body to the side of Zillah's eye, and she shudders. She says that it looks painful, but that she can feel the touch of it when she applies it to herself. He asks her if she would like to do the same thing with someone else, and when she says yes, he asks her to do it with him. He wants to talk to her about the person he loves, and then he wants to grab her and squeeze her, but he doesn't know how to do this.
