In this short scene, Hirokazu and his friends are trying to keep up appearances with each other. They're teasing each other about how much they love each other, and how they're jealous of each other's success in wooing the other. The two men try to make up, but they can't get it together. They tease each other for a while, and then Hiroko tells them that he's getting a red transfer to a new school, so they'll have to wait until the end of the school year to move in together.
