The chapter opens with a conversation between Asuka and Yuri. Yuri tells her that she heard that professor hasumi had an affair with some of his students and that he had threatened to divorce them if they did not comply with his wishes. She tells Yuri that she is relieved that he is leaving because she and she were the cause of the affair. She also tells him that the newspaper club had published a special edition about the affair and that she had heard it from a friend's upper-class friend. The chapter ends with Yuri telling her that he has read the article in the newspaper and that the university is a legit one. He also tells her about the fact that he heard that the professor had tried to assault him but that he did not know if he would have been able to do so if he had only read one gossip article about him from the club. He says that although he hates gossip rags, there is no way that he would quit over one article from a magazine. He tells her how sorry he is for always asking her for help and how much he enjoys gardening. He thanks her for always helping him and says that he wishes he could have been a flower shop owner as a kid. He is sorry that he allowed a man like Hasumi to remain out on
