In this chapter, Fang introduces us to a new character named "Tang tian" . He's the kind of guy who's always on the lookout for a shortcut to the next level of martial arts. In other words, he's looking for a way to improve his martial skills without spending too much time training. Fang tells us that his goal in life is to become stronger, and that's exactly what he wants to do. He wants to become a super-strong martial artist. He also wants to be able to use his newfound martial skill to help Fang improve his armor. Fang wants to know if "Soul Refinement Machine" has been finished. He says that the southern military has been working on mechanical armors for a long time, but they've all failed because of the fact that they don't have "a martial soul" , which is a fancy term for a warrior's intelligence and connection to the other side of the battlefield. Fang thinks that mechanical armor is just like the body, but with a "martial soul" attached to it. He thinks that if they could put a "soul general card" in it, they could use it as a weapon instead of just a piece of paper. This is a really cool idea, and Fang says he'll help Fang make it happen.
