In the middle of the night, a great fairy appears in the sky and tells Baihu that he has returned to the realm of the yang-ming. He tells lajiao that the remnant of his body is disappearing, and he doesn't know whether they'll meet in the future. Baihu tells him that he is the guardian of the realm, and that there is a "fluctuation" in the space between the two worlds. He says that the humans have entered the realm and that the fairy realm is over. The great fairy says that humans and the fairies are incompatible and that he's here to correct a mistake he made back in the day.
