The next morning, Shu'an wakes up to find that his hair is gone, and the smell of his blood has returned. He realizes that he has come face-to-face with a girl for the first time in his life, and he feels a bloodthirsty rage. He wonders what happened to him the night before, and wonders why he hit him so hard. He also wonders why his grandson, the grandson of the academy's head, has been beating him, and why he has not been able to knock him out. He worries that his elder brother, the elder fengyang, is even more frightening than his grandson. He is afraid that he is going to be eaten by the monster, and decides to take back his monthly exam scores.
