Bujianmao and his assistant, gutou, are trying to figure out how to get out of the "sealed space" . They can't figure out what's going on, because they're trapped between time and space. They're also trapped between the dead woman and the sound spirits, who aren't their own. The sound spirits are the ones who gave up their only chance to escape because of the two of them. They don't know how to survive in the "turbulent flow of time" , but they've figured out a way to make it work. The dead woman condensed the two sound spirits into a single entity, and then they transformed it into a human being. Now, they have to deal with the fact that they'll all die if they continue to live in this world. But, they still have to live, because even if they disappear, they won't be able to stop them from living. They give up their pacifiers, which were given to them when they turned into human beings, and give them back to them.
