In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character, the "doctor of death" . We learn that he is a young man of about 50 years old, handsome, and very popular. He is competing in the quarter-finals of the unlimited fighting competition. The host and commentator of the tournament, Katie, welcomes him to the arena. He tells us that the doctor is very popular among the contestants, and that the opponent, Doctor of Death, is also very popular amongst the contestants. He also tells us about the doctor's "death evasion technique" , which prevents him from getting hit in the critical points of his body.
