The curfew begins, and the new kid tries to convince the boss that he's hungry. The boss tells him that he can eat after he finishes eating, but he can't eat until the boss is done eating. The new kid begs the boss to tell him about the cell rules, but the boss refuses to listen to him. He tells the kid that he still has something important to teach him, and that he needs to find out if the kid is a rogue. The kid stares at the new guy, confused and horrified.
