This means that if he tries to leave, he won't be able to fight anymore, and the match will be over before he can even get close to the other guy. The judge also tried to make the match look like a public execution, which is totally unacceptable to flynson. He wants him to die in front of the crowd, and even if he were to die, the judge would still die with him . Flynson begs the crowd to let him go, or else he'd face severe punishment for being "ruthless" , and they all agree. The crowd cheers, and then the judge announces that the winner of the match has been announced: Gosella!
