The next morning, Ling tells her sister that she hasn't yet hung up on her, and that she's been training herself to be a cultivator. She's worried that she won't be able to master the art of cultivating in time for the university's fall term, which begins in a few days. Ling says that she entered the code for cultivating into her soup, and she hopes that the soup will help her to master it. Ling is worried that if she doesn't master it, she'll lose all of her "cultivation training" . She wonders if there's anything else that she can do besides cultivating. Ling thinks that mu su is trying to help her, but she can't believe that he's calling on people who didn't lay a foundation for their university education. Ling's not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. She decides to start a tutoring class to help the other students.
