The winged bird and the teacher arrive at the school, which is located at the top of a mountain. There are restaurants, supermarkets, ktv, internet cafes, and a protection barrier around the school. The teacher introduces the two men to the school's spirit, who is attached to a plaque on top of the mountain. He explains that the school sleeps for twenty-three and a half hours a day, and that he is unable to fall asleep because of the noise. The two men return to the gate, where they are greeted by the other students. They eat half of the bamboo that the teacher prepared for them, and they return to their dormitory.
