In this chapter, Caius compares himself to a "piece of trash" and tells us that he's not the same person he was before his rebirth. He's just a shell of his former self. Caius explains that he was "naive" to think that he could use his newfound strength and speed to defeat the enemy. He wonders how he could increase his speed and strength at the same time while only having "one chance left" .
