The scene opens with a flashback to the events of the previous chapter, in which the hero is overcome with grief over the loss of his beloved car. He realizes that he is still alive, and that the man in front of him is a bastard. He is angry that the bastard is even remotely related to the car, and he demands to know why he is comparing his life to the one of the car's driver. The bastard refuses to leave the scene, and the hero tells him to take his dirty hand away from his body and teach him how to speak to adults. He tells the man that he will not forgive him, and then the man kneels on the ground, pretending to be a blaze mage. The hero is shocked, and tells him that it is too late for him to die. He says that he would never dream of sacrificing one of his hands to save the life of another. The man says that the difference between them is that they are unable to touch the flame
