Back at the manor, Doctor Dagmar tells Sir Walter Scott that the cure they've been using to cure the children has been working, but it's not working as well as it used to. Sir Walter says that they'll have the code soon enough, and he asks Sarah to stay with him. She says she can't, because she has to see Dr. Dagmar, but that she'll come back if something happens to her. He tells her that if she doesn't come, he'll kill her and the girls. He says they have to follow Simon to the manor on three, and then they can run through the woods. Sarah says she's faking it, and that she would've killed the children if she'd done it sooner, but she says she was too scared to do it. She tells the doctor that he blew up the manor before they could even escape, and she asks him if he thinks she can fly again. The doctor says no, but then he says he's a third of the way there, so he can communicate with the others telepathically. Sarah tells him to leave her alone, but he tells her to open the door and kill her.
