When the Governess returns home, she is surprised to find that the house is in such disarray that she has to rush out to find help. The Governess tells her that she wishes she could live with her father, who was a hard-working man. She tells him that she always wanted to be with him, and that he was always kind to her. She asks him to tidy up the house as well, and he agrees.
