In this chapter, we find out that the narrator has been infected by his own silliness, and that he is helping the young man dry his hair. The narrator apologizes for showing him such a embarrassing side of himself, and says that he does not want to be a cute person. He will be happy if he acts spoiled more often, the narrator says. At first, he thought that watching him in silence would satisfy him, but when he gets closer to him, he will always crave more, but he doesn't want him to force himself. He says that it has been only a month since they last saw each other, but that he has already taken up a large part of his heart, and he needs someone to reach out to him.
