The dog, liquor bear, and the student, Scratch, play together. Scratch tells the dog, sesame, that he has a different attitude toward him than the other dog. The dog says that he once helped a man care for his pets, but that the man claimed that he was the dog's owner, so he had to leave the dog in that man's care. The student, sticky Qihong, says that the dog ignores him, not because he does not play with him, but because he is the one who found the dog. He asks the student to raise the dog until he is ready to do so, but the student says he has no friends who can help him. He offers to pay for the new dog food, which the student eagerly accepts. The two exchange pleasantries, and when the student asks which class he is in, the student replies that he is from the same class as the other student for the past three years.
