In this short scene, we learn that Bing is on a business trip with his mother, and that Bing's father is accompanying him on the trip as well. We learn that the father is a crotchety old crotchety crotchety man who has been through hell and back, and who has endured lots of physical and sexual abuse. We also learn that his wife is a "mom's boy" , meaning that she has been married to Bing for a long, long time, and she has had a child out of wedlock. The father, on the other hand, is a rich old man, and he has a lot of money to his name, so he has been waiting for his wife to get married and move in with Bing so he can live in luxury with her. The two men wash the dishes in the laundry room, and the father asks if his wife will get married soon, and if she will move into the house with Bing soon. He then asks if her mother will come in, and when she does, he asks if they can go to his bed. The pants on his wife's dress, he says, are just like hers, so they must be hers. He asks where he can buy a shirt, and his wife says that it is too expensive, but he will make it up later. He also asks if she is the person he was supposed to meet today, and her answer is that she is not, and so he cannot pretend to be friendly.
