The next morning, Mina wakes up in the middle of the night. She's worried that she's been raped and murdered by her husband's friends. She tries to comfort him, but he's not having it. He tells her that they're going to start a search the next day, but she doesn't want to think about it. She starts to worry about how she'll be able to find her father in law, who's in the house. She can't bear to stay with him like this, and so she decides to turn around and find him. She finds him in a trapdoor, and he starts to panic. He's getting goosebumps from touching his wife's breasts. He tries to get her to show him where she was when she was raped, and she won't show him. He says that his wife is his woman, and that he'll take care of her.
