"I'm ready" is the first line of this chapter's epigraph. It's the first time we've heard this line before, so we're not sure what to make of it. The epigraph is a bit of a mouthful, but it's basically a shout-out to all the things that make us want to scream. It starts off by saying that Shmoop is "ready" , which is a good thing, because Shmoo's going to have a hard time getting him to say "yes" when he's trying to teach him how to "teach" his "dull orgasm" . Shmoo says he'll "spread pant" and "spread slap" and then "smile" and so on and so forth until Shmoo finally says "yes." Shmoo is all "okay" and Shmoo starts to get a little twitchy. He's all "what's that slap that slap?" and "shhh" and all that kind of stuff. He finally says that Shmoo has "kept her cool" and that she's "a nice person, no sex" ! Shmoo gets a little bit twitchy and starts to freak out. He wants to know why Shmoo said this was a "final fare well" and not a "regrettable end" ? Shmoo doesn't know what to do. He says Shmoo will support his "dream" of becoming a "manga artist" but that he won't be able to do it since Shmoo isn't good enough to be an artist.
