Back at the palace, the gang picks up the pieces of the "go board" from the previous hall. The pieces are made up of one hundred eighty pieces of white and one hundred one pieces of black. The white pieces correspond to the heavenly beasts, and the black pieces correspond with the key to the underground palace. There are four entrances into the palace. The first hall is called "the go hall" and contains thirty-six go games. Each of the thirty six games is uncompleted, and is tied with various hidden paths. For a go player , the paths are not necessarily set. There is no "set way to kill" . If the pieces are placed incorrectly, the path will be split into numerous forked paths.
