In this short scene, the Governess tries to convince herself that she's not crazy about living with a fierce gangster. She's just trying to get used to the idea of being alone with him. The Governess, however, doesn't want to be the only person who's crazy about sex. She wants to be a part of the action, and she wants to make sure that the other guy is happy. She tells herself that if she becomes his girlfriend, she'll be able to live with him for the rest of her life.
