In this short scene, we are introduced to a new character named "bump" . He is a young man who has come to work at a stock exchange in order to help his boss, the "presi dent" , pay his debt. The presi dent, who is now in his mid-thirties, has been working in the stock exchange for more than twenty years and has been employed by the company for as long as he can remember. He asks his boss to take care of him and to train his new assistant, "nagisa," so that she will be able to perform the duties of her job. He tells her to come to his office during lunchbreak so that he can give her a tour of the place. He warns her that she may get lost and that she should follow him. He then tells her that he has a solution for her problem. He has a map with him that she can use to find her boss's office. She staggers to the office and asks where she came from. He says that he is completely lost and cannot return to his job. She blushes and says that everyone calls her "rabbit," which is a reference to the stock company she works for. She then tells him that the company gave her a three-month extension to pay her debt and that no one will lend her any more money. She tells him to bring her dent to her office so that they can discuss the problem. She says that she is so sad that she stomps and creaks if she does not answer. The company threatens to sell her off if she doesn't answer. She promises not to kill herself and tells him not to worry because she can pay him with her body.
