In this chapter, we are introduced to a young country girl who is living with a fierce gangster. The girl's reaction to the encounter is one of shock and awe. She is overcome by the intensity of the relationship between the two men, and she is afraid that the sex will result in either death or life. She tries to comfort the girl by reminding her that she is a virgin, and that she has been called a monkey by her family back in the country. She tells the girl that she will not be immune to the slaps and slaps that are coming from the gangster, and the girl agrees to go easy on the man.
