This chapter opens with a soliloquy by a "sexless wife" . She tells us that she's found "pleasures" in her life, and she thanks her husband for his hard work. She asks him if he's got any plans for the future, and he replies that he doesn't have any plans at all. She then asks him what he wants to talk about. He tells her that he saw her coming out of a shinji with another man, and that they had sex there. He also says that they were "fuck buddies" and that he was surprised when he met him again when he came back to work at the brothel. He then tells her how he and another man had sex in a hotel lobby, and how they've been having sex ever since. She's all, "Oh, it's hard to believe me, rub rub rub" , and then she asks him to rub her with his feet. He says he can't, because he'll rub her "with his feet" and she won't believe him. She says she'll leave her money in the bank, and they'll have sex any time they want.
