He tells her that he's going on a group trip with her, and that she should get ready because he'll be pretending to be a boy. The narrator tells Nonoka that he lied to his friend about having a boyfriend, and after that, she invited him to a group outing with her friend, and he pretended to be hers. He's embarrassed that he didn't have one before, and now he wants to be the one to flirt with her. He asks Nonoka if she'd like to drink some tea, and she says she would, but she doesn't want to do it with him. He tries to get her to open the lid of her tea so that he can see through her shirt, which is stained with sweat. She says she's okay, and then she asks him if he has spare clothes. He says he does, and they're on their way to the train station, where they'll have to stop.
