In this short scene, Shmoop is trying to get the attention of Hitomi, who has come to his house with him. He tries to get her to talk to him, but she refuses. He tells her that he wants to be hers, and that she should embrace him with that "kindness of hers" . He says that if she wants to talk, he'll be her ears, or if he needs anything, he can just let her know. He wants her to know that he loves her, but that he doesn't want anyone else to love her, because that's not what he wants. He asks her to hold him so that he can "just embrace you with that kind of ness" , and she agrees to do just that. She says that she's just going to do it for one day only, and if she needs anything else, she'll let him know.
