The next morning, the narrator wakes up to find that the girl he's been sleeping next to is teasing him. The girl asks him to "date" her, and the narrator tells her to stop. He doesn't want to make her feel bad, so he tells her not to do it again. He tells her that she's asking him to do something he shouldn't be doing, which is "asking" her to date him. She's not having it, and she tells him to calm down. She tells him that she knows his "safe days" and that he should sweat it out. The narrator tells the girl to "pluck from lick to lick" and to "kiss on a weekday" . She says that's what she calls her "period cycle" , which means she has sex every day of the week.
