In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character, who is introduced as "the big newcomer" . We learn that he is a member of a group of black men who have a mandatory get-together every few months. The conversation between the new guy and the old guy turns to the topic of breasts. The old guy complains that his breasts are too small. The new guy responds by saying that they are "normal" and that he prefers them to his big boobs. The two of them drink together and talk about the new girl. The older guy asks if she is awake and the younger guy says that she is. The young guy says he has to go get her and bring her back to his house.
