In this chapter, the three men discuss the rules of the game. Everyone is allowed to do whatever they want with the rules as long as it doesn't violate the rules. The only problem is that the rules don't allow everyone to do what they want. For example, liming was chased by someone who wanted to capture her, but he wasn't punished because he didn't jump on the same house as her. This means that everyone can do anything they want, even if it's illegal. The three men decide to form a bridge so that those who cannot jump over the bridge can jump instead. This will shorten the distance between the jump and the ground. Everyone wants to go home, but they can't because only a few people die in the game each time they jump. Finally, they decide to go back to the house.
