Before answering the question of why two people exist at the same time, the monster explains that he wants to know Arthur's past first. He says that he came from "another world" and that Arthur was just a teenager when he died. The monster then explains how Arthur was able to go back in time and that he lost his memories when he went back to the future. In the future, the earth's defense team launches a program to protect the earth from a "transformation crisis" . The five children of hope are recruited and become part of the team, but they are unable to travel back because they have lost their memory. Arthur, however, is able to return to the past, but he is unable to remember the past because he has lost his memory. This means that Arthur has grown up and died suddenly. The time came again and Arthur was taken away by the defense team, and the substance in his body was found by the doctors. This substance was the key to defeating the transformation crisis. Arthur was then injected with the e- potion, and he was then able to travel again in time.
