In a soliloquy, Black Dog laments the fact that he's exhausted from his fight. He's also worried about his companion, who's getting colder and colder. He tells her to just give up. He doesn't want her to die under his frozen blade. Black Dog is a system administrator, and if he kills him, the entire organization will want to kill him too. He wants to know where the enemy was defeated, why they're half naked on his bed, and why he feels disappointed. He also wants to burn his brain with the fire, but Black Dog won't listen to him. Instead, he tells him to repent his sins and go to hell. He swears to become a mentor to Black Dog.
