In this chapter, devo's tea is ready, and he tells his master that he's finally calmed down. He's looking forward to his next adventure, which is to find the literary pavilion in the middle of nowhere. He tells devo that in order to do so, he needs to first go to the training center for new heroes, where they have to pass a series of trials to choose their classes. This is the first step in the hero's education, and it's a waste of time, since there are so many different classes to choose from. There are ten people in the room, and if they all die, they'll all have to wait in line for another hero to join them. Devo says that the guy they're looking for is from the famous family, the austins, and they've got a bunch of awesome weapons. He wants to kill the guy, but he can't because there's so much waiting in line. He says that if they kill him, he won't be able to make enough money to buy more weapons, so he'll just have to kill someone else to make up for the time wasted waiting for someone else. He also says that he doesn't want to humiliate the family anymore, and that's it.
