In this short scene, we learn that Roxane's temper has flared, and that she has not mentioned her marriage to Caius. Caius's mother, however, does not mention the marriage at all, and Caius laments that he has no magic powers anymore. He tells his mother that she will be his wife, though it is too soon to say so
