He asks her to be a princess now that she's back, so that she will be able to use the prince's power to her advantage. She says that the ball is not far off, and it took her many efforts to invite the princes from the blue cloud. She doesn't want to waste her time on fruitless endeavors, she says. She reminds the prince that they experienced a life-and-death adventure one year ago in the north, but that the spell on the prince has been broken. She gives the prince an invitation letter to the spring ball, but there has been no word from the prince about his departure.
