In this short scene, Roxane and her mother are on their way back to the palace when an explosion occurs. Roxane is bleeding from the wound she received in the explosion. She is shocked to find that the voice she heard is that of her beloved Roxane, the favorite of the queen. She realizes that her body has been pierced through by the monster, and that the monster has already become her enemy. She falls into the lake below and realizes that she has forgotten her engagement to Roxane's mother, Fuyuhina. She feels that before she dies, everything in her life will be reflected in the mirror.
