The next morning, the two men discuss the outcome of the night's battle. The two wonder if they should cooperate with the Muslim Brotherhood in order to defeat the enemy. The second wonders why the leader is so humble now, and wonders if he has a fever. He wonders if there is something he needs the man to do for him. The man tells him that he doesn't think the war is over yet, but that unexpected events will continue to happen.
