In this chapter, Sikong-dong, the leader of Sikong's protection troop, delivers a long speech in which he criticizes Sikong and his followers for their mistreatment of the leader. Sikong replies by saying that the situation in Sikong is getting out of hand, and he has even written a letter to the Sikong clan asking for their forgiveness for their treatment of him. He then compares Sikong to the "head of the demon sect" and warns Sikong that a bloody war will soon break out between the two groups.
