The next morning, the gang learns that the man who cut off his father's right arm is the same man who killed the boy earlier in the story. The man is named Pyeon Yooryang, and he is known as the "murdering ghost" because many of his followers have been killed by him. The gang is shocked to learn that he is a member of the "red blood gang" and that he has been expelled from the city.
