General, Watch Out For The Mad Dog!

This chapter's epigraph is from Book VI, Chapter 7. It's a quote from Buddha's Buddha, which says, "All beings are created equal, endowed with the same faculties, endowed by the same laws, and endowed with different kinds of powers." Buddha says that all beings have the same powers, and that the gods bestow them on them. He also says that there are many people who cultivate secretly, but they can't do so because they're not powerful enough to protect themselves from the gods. He says that he won't talk about the emperor, but that the emperor is not the only person to have this power. He adds that he doesn't think the emperor's wrath is directed at the gods, but at the people who are cultivating secretly. The narrator asks the narrator if he's willing to sacrifice his own children in order to protect the children of other cultivators who have been captured by the emperor. He replies that people are divided into good and bad rather than race, and he is protecting the
