In this chapter, we learn that the General is in the process of removing his mark from his body. He wants to be able to roam freely in the world. He is afraid that if the divine clan finds the seeds and returns them to the world, he will be punished. He tells the General that he has already decided to return the group to the right path. He says that he is still waiting for the General to allow him to live an extravagant life. The General asks if he has woken up at the right time. He replies that he thinks he has. He explains that the seeds inside his body matured but he was still weak. He thanks the General and the Panda for saving the group. The Panda says that now that he can protect himself and follow the General back to the Panda, the demons will not pursue him for the seeds.
