About This Chapter
The next morning, the Governess arrives at the Queen's palace. The Governess tells the Queen that she has come just in time to help her. The Queen is pleased to see her, but she tells her that it was a mistake that she had made earlier. She asks the Queen if she is pregnant, and the Queen replies that she is not, as she is suffering from abdominal pains, chest tightness and nausea. She says that the Queen has been poisoned with saffron, which can cause stomach cramps and nausea, and can even make a woman lose her ability to bear a child. When the Queen asks who is trying to poison her, she says that it is the concubine of the Queen, who has ordered her to do so. The Concubine says that she was afraid that she would not be able to bear the King's children, so she poisoned the Queen to make her lose the ability. The King has already killed her, and she will use her death to prove her words
