This chapter opens with a flashback to the events of the previous chapter, in which Zichen tells the audience that the assassins will not be able to kill Gui yan because he is too stupid to distinguish between his enemies and his friends. He then gives Guiyan the medicine that he gave him, and tells him to send the assassins away so that he can take care of his own business.
