In this chapter, the young princess tells her father that she is sorry that he has become her father because she asked him to. He tells her that she will never be able to go back to the city where she was born, and that she may have to change the area into a cage so that she can live with other people. He says that he never thought he would live in a bug cage, and wonders why the bugs do not attack them. The young princess says that she serves the bugs well as their leader, and she will do her work for her father. She says that the humans will be sorted out, and the bugs will be eradicated. She tells him that the city was her home, but that what she did to it was "such a shame about her mother as well." She says she will have to negotiate with the city to get it reopened.
