In this short scene, Ling and the others try to convince the reader that the Snow Lotus is the real deal, and that they will be able to get out of the cave. Ling is convinced that the snow lotus will freeze them to death, and she begs the others to let her go. She believes that if she is able to freeze herself, then she will have the five senses sealed again.
