The narrator is in the middle of a conversation with the doctor when he is interrupted by a knock at the door. The doctor tells him to come inside and calm down. The narrator asks the doctor if he caught a cold, and the doctor replies that he did not. He then tells the narrator that he has a sleeping aid that the doctor gave him, but the doctor says that he will be okay with that, as long as he does not use it too much. He says that if the doctor continues to use the sleeping aid, the problem will be solved, but that there is nothing else he can do for the patient at this time. He also says that the patient's mother sent him a sleeping bag, but he says that it was not a good idea, as the sleeping bag was too heavy. He adds that he hopes the patient will be able to sleep with the sleep aid, as it might not break the root of his problem. He tells the doctor that he is worried about the patient, as he is a doctor and a human being, and that he should stop by and check on him
