The next morning, the doctor and his assistant prepare to record the patient's vitals. The doctor tells them that the patient is getting closer and closer to death. The assistant tells the doctor that the miller has lost control of his truck and is heading back to the city, where he will be "screwed anyway" . He tells the assistant to turn off the "damn video camera" and to "clean up that damn truck" , but the assistant refuses to do so, saying that it's too hot outside. He says that they came to get "ramsey" and "spector" because they were "stupid and slow" and that they didn't look as though they were alive as they thought they were. He then goes on to say that he reached the city several days later, like a "fine wine," and that he gets better with time.
