The next morning, the gang heads back to the hotel where connie stayed the night before. They're bummed that she didn't stay in the hotel last night, but they're also bummed that there's a dead assassin in the lot. They decide to stay low and not draw too much attention to themselves. They don't want connie to be around, though, because she's going to be rejected for a room at the hotel when the credit gets turned down. They also want to know the identity of the man who shot Cloten, but no one in the bar can tell them who shot him. They can't figure out how to kill Cloten without killing him first, so they've got to figure out a way to kill him first. They want to clear a path for the car so that they can get away from the scene of the crime. The gang is bummed that they let the two guys get away, but then they realize that they'll have to clear the path for them if they want to get out of the way of the car. They figure out that they need to make sure that the door is locked before they can go in. They think that they have the right to do so, but that's not the case. They realize that connie is paying them a lot of money to get rid of Cloten. They wonder why they haven't killed him yet, when they could just as easily have killed him on a road trip. They have an interview with a member of the military, and he tells them that he just made a 20,000 bet on a total stranger. They all agree that it's time for them to stop shooting the son of a "whore" and "tunk" . They agree that they should try to stay out of trouble, but what's their next move? They'll just have to kill the guy who killed Cloten
